Security Architect - Brussels

This is a Belgium based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology brand working on their largest digital and technological transformation program.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Security Architect to join our client s team and play a crucial role in securing our client s digital and physical infrastructures, with a primary focus on the KMC project, ensuring the safety and reliability of railway operations across Europe. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cryptography and cybersecurity, proficiency in PKI, and a strong understanding of network security.

As a Senior Security Architect, You will lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge security measures for projects, with a special focus on ensuring the safety and reliability of railway operations across Europe, particularly for the KMC project. Your expertise lies in conducting risk assessments, designing security architectures, evaluating and integrating technologies, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and planning incident response strategies. Through collaboration, training, and continuous improvement, You will work to safeguard both digital and physical infrastructures against evolving threats.

Requirements:

Mandatory:

• Extensive experience in cryptography and cybersecurity.
• Proficiency in PKI.
• Strong understanding of network security.

Desirable:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and Key Management Systems (KMS) (a plus).
• Experience in UML and Enterprise Architect.
• Proficiency in Java and Angular.
• Experience with security protocols such as TLS/SSL and risk analysis (TRA).
